Emery needs to take the blame here. Midfield was bollocks with Ceballos doing defensive work and leaves Ozil on.

I feel like I am asking this week in week out, but how come Xhaka just waltzes into the starting lineup. Didnt have one good ball today going forward

I think it's honestly within 3 points levels of shitness between the 3 but have Chelsea faves for 4th. Just. If we'd have scored those two pens would have ****ing helped. Probably sitting 2nd now.

I am just kind of hoping that our defense will be beefed up with Bellerin/Tierney, but not sure what can we do about the midfield. When Ceballos was subbed we lost the little control we had over it.

Xhaka really is getting found out in this 3 man midfield formation, but seems like the most nailed on player we have. Luiz is Luiz and Sokratis is Sokratis, but I think it would be really hard even for two Van Dijks to handle a constant barrage of attack with only one midfielder offering some help.
