Chelsea win would’ve definitely been better.

Sarri is impressive but the Chelsea side is too strange to threaten pool or city imo. Wasting kante in the role he has him because he likes the way Jorginho pings it around is odd. Granted Jorginho seems good but it’s mystifying how you have the best dm in the world and don’t use him there

Then they have the issue of having two totally useless strikers. Two complete knobs. I don’t know how they could possibly keep up throughout the entire season

Not in terrible shape by any means but just in a bit of a weird situation

Maybe they sell kante for a load during winter window, land a world class striker and work from there. They still have the issue of having kovacic only for a season though due to that bizarre loan deal

I'm not sure I get the Giroud hate. He wasn't supposed to be more than a backup. But he has a certain set of skills which are really useful in a ton of situations.

Giroud is a good bench-striker for teams without unlimited funds. They need to upgrade Morata though.

I see we have super sunday tomorrow

Damn. 0-0?

Nice one, Hoop.

Obv, the one thing Mourinho teams have always been is defensively solid. But they just conceded their 12th of the season, which they didn’t do last year until Dec. 17th. Lol specialist in failure.
Absolutely cannot continue to jam out that lineup anymore though. Watford were the better team for 80 minutes, albeit not by much.

Lol mun

From what I've gathered, growing up also means to stop taking yourself too seriously and thinking you're the most important person in the world. You fail on both accounts and are so humourless that you could pass as German

Only saw the first half but draw seems fair from what I saw. I like Giroud and he does many good things but really the hope was for Morata to replace Costa and so far he has just replaced Torres. Unless severe run bad think we’re fine for top 4 and I enjoyed that first half from both sides so it’ll be an enjoyable season.

Does Pogba not count towards United’s academy graduate in the starting XI streak? Because that’s the only explanation I can think of for Jose starting McTominay at CB.

Would like to see Iwobi for Ramsey (he just hasn’t worked as a 10 imo) and Ozil not on the wing next game. Iwobi has been one of the bright spots of the season so far for me.

It’s not starting 11, it’s match day squad.

Lukaku didn't score v West Ham?

Damn Jose

Kane being way off pace still has 5 goals in 7 games, LOL.

Injured Kane totally off form, needs a rest >>>>>>>> Lukaku running hot.

To be fair 2 have been penalties. He scored a great goal vs Fulham and a cracking header at OT. Cross from Trippier today was so good even I might have been able to put it in.

Mourinho is such a cancer, seeing it all go wrong in the third season leading to an eventual sacking is such an expected pattern, although he did deviate from the norm by not actually achieving any success in his first 2 seasons this time.

He won three trophies in 2016-17.

Oh please. Two trophies. Let's not insult United that much.

Europa league, league cup and charity shield is an impressive treble for sure, but i wouldn’t describe it as a great success for a club like man united. Usually Mou is good for a league title or two or a CL before it all blows up.

I don't really hate the Mancs that much, but it was absolutely awesome to put a nail in Mourinho's coffin. Hopefully he will piss off to China and fall out with a completely new set of players there.

The guard of honor for Arnautovic's goal was particularly nice. A great example of the respect that Mourinho called for recently.

its september (just!) and you can get 150/1 on man utd to win the league

lol

We had the rub of the green yesterday, but they were properly **** and less than the sum of their (very expensive) parts.

this didnt get huge amnts of attention at the time iirc but mourinho holding up three fingers to urge his players to celebrate the treble is quite lol

i should note that it is only #2 on the list of most embarrassing three fingered gestures made by jose mourinho after his 'three titles' press conference outburst a few weeks ago

besides, lukaku won player of the month march 2017 so really it was a quadruple
