Does anyone have a Switch and have FIFA 18 on it? I'm not usually a FIFA bloke, I'm more about RPGs and action games/platformers but a few of my mates here have it and I'm sort of encouraged to get it.

I just get ****ed off having to spend $60 each year for the same game with slightly updated graphics, it's not like they improve it a ton each year like Football Manager does.
My cousin has a Switch and I'm pretty sure he wanted to get FIFA for it, gonna ask him if it sucks or not

Portugal. The Man - Evil Friends

arsenal AGM seems like it was a hoot according to reports. lots of talk about exceeding commercial revenue targets

the rabble were then told that if they want to know what the owner thinks then they should read the telegraph

That was, iirc, literally the first album mentioned?

Saw Metallica twice, second time at Monsters of Rock with AC/DC, and REM at Manchester Arena in 1999 (I think).

What a line up.

I went to Leeds in 2000

Beck and Foo Fighters were the highlights.

Can't remember RHCP lol.

More than reasonable chance I missed it because I was in pizzaland in Reading getting washed. Doubt I'd do the camping thing in puddles ever again.

Reading folklore is that they only played for about 5 minutes after being bottled off stage.

First: Prince

Best: Too hard to call.

Last: Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds

Off to see Metallica this Saturday.

Last gig may actually have been Prince in Vegas.

This reminded my weird brain of "Dirge" by Death in Vegas, which is a really underrated and totally awesome album.

Contino Sessions is a great album

Odd to see some relatively late REM albums mentioned. They became meh when they changed to Warner from IRS records. Murmur was by far their best work.
I'll bung in a few.

De La Soul - 3 Feet High and Rising
Stone Roses - Stone Roses
Pulp - Different Class
U2 - Achtung Baby

generally agree, but HiFi is absolutely elite. Be Mine in particular might be the only non-Radiohead song that would make my all time top 10.

Spoiler:
I'll be the lights that guide you inward.. I'll be the visions you will see.. the visions you will see... you will see... YOU AND MEEEEEE DUN DER DIDDY DUN DUN, DUN DUN DER DIDDY DUN YOU AND MEEEE DUN DER DIDDY DUN DUN, DUN DUN DER DIDDY DUN DUN, DERRRR NER NER NER, NER NER NER.. ok relax

btw Different Class was the anthem to my university days and will always have a special place for me, but This Is Hardcore was Jarvis' real masterpiece imo. I must be one of the only people I know who didn't go to The Stone Roses gig at Spike Island (though I turned up later that evening to hoover up the easy pickings from the thousands of drunk / wasted girls), as I always preferred Happy Mondays. But Roses' music stands the test of time wayyyy better.

Both reasonable shouts IMO. It was very good of BAIDS to add some comedy to proceedings by suggesting a pub rock album.

All worthy of discussion.

Loveless was a good shout earlier as well.
