Really? Most of my early recollections of the great Liverpool side were of exactly that.

More importantly, who is going to step up and start the new thread?

Hoopie, please tell me it's true, even if it's not.
I have no idea if it is true, but I wouldn't be surprised. And even if it wasn't, he'd just have injured himself doing something else, the ****ing imbecile.

From my own recollection it was liverpool that utilised the old rules the best.

Well known for it at the time.

I re-read Fever Pitch today, which made me look at highlights of the 1987 Littlewoods semifinal replay between Tottenham and Arsenal at WHL (enjoying the benefits of unemployment to their fullest), and one thing that stood out to me was how Spurs brought the ball forward after Arsenal took the lead: goal kick, defender passes it back to the keeper, who picks the ball up and thumbs it forward. A minor chance all things considered, but it looks incredibly weird now.

I'm guessing that somewhere showed a replay of the England/W Germany semi in the build up to notcominghomegate, there must surely have been some confused people younger than me watching it wondering why Shilton or Illgner were picking up backpasses

What was the general consensus to abolishing the pass back to the keeper rule? Was it a big deal to overturn at the time and a lot of people were against it? Because it's the absolute WOAT way to watch and play a game.
What site is this? Wouldn't mind a pm if it's not kosher to post here.

Thanks, but I get back from Tenerife that day so won't be going to the away leg. Don't think I'd have been able to get a ticket anyway.

Send me a PM when you know if you're going and we can have a beer in the cricket club.

Not sure about Sarri. Only big positive I can see is the return of zola. But let's hope he proves me wrong. Lose hazard and kante and I think it's gonna be a struggle with any manager at the helm.

going to Bratislava for work week of 7/23. Work will be done on 7/27 and planning on going back on 7/30 or 7/31.

Want to visit Vienna, Bratislava, Budapest and Prague. Is that too many cities in such a short time and are these the right cities or are there other cities I should consider?
07-15-2018 , 01:57 PM
There's nothing to do in bratislava, just spend as much time as you can in the other 3 cities because they're 10x more worth it. You won't have enough days to do them all completely but they're elite cities. If i were you I'd droo vienna and do the budapest/Prague double with 2 days each. Also gonna be much cheaper
