yup. I texted the pics to a few friends and it's just shocking that he's fighting for a starting place while looking the way he is. It wouldn't be an issue for many of us to look like that, but for a young professional footballer fighting for a starting spot? Oh hell no.

I was speaking to a mate about this today, is he just not making any sacrifices for it? Or is he in the camp of 'I've made it I don't need to work'. Really bizarre seen as he's got everything handed to him on a plate, he just needs to eat right and train for a few hours a day for 10-15 years and be sorted.

That's every single manager he's had say the same thing he needs to lose weight and get fit.

I know RAZ will say he's amazing though

that could be the problem. I saw an IG post where it was Shaw and then a cut to a completely shredded Evra. It just goes to show who in their career wanted it more and who actually took his career seriously.

I'm not even saying he needs to have the body fat % of Evra, but you can't look at him and actually think he's a professional athlete. It's even more amazing as he is likely going to be cast aside as soon as is prudent and he clearly doesn't gaf.

dunno if it plays in to this situation but i heard some fat bloke intel a while back suggesting that luke shaw is actually ******ed. like, developmentally subnormal

That probably stems from the interviews he had a few years ago when asked if he know who famous footballers are and he was clueless.

Maybe he doesn't give a **** and is happy with the money he's making by coasting on his talent. Obv I see why the club that paid a ton of money for him isn't thrilled by they but I could definitely relate.

This not knowing footballers reminds me of Manuel Friedrich- a guy who had a pretty good career but admitted to not having an interest in football beyond it being his day job. That guy was fairly intellectual though IIRC, I'm not getting that vibe from Shaw.

Joejoe, we're probably overplaying how bad his body is. But, I'm more shocked that he's looking like that given that he could well be playing for England right now if he got himself into something resembling professional shape.

I know someone through online sources who went to school with him who commented on his lack of intelligence, so consider this fat bloke double-sauced.

The photos probably make his appearance look worse than it actually is though.

When someone comments on a footballers lack of intelligence it has to be put into context to determine how dumb they really are.

If you knew Phil Neville at school you would describe him as really dumb, but he is an intellectual god amongst footballers based on his ability to order sentences.
