Yeah Chicago tourism board doesn't have the same marketing push that the coastal cities (and central Florida) seem to have. I've only been living here for 3 months, but my wife is originally from here so have spent a ****load of time here over the last 15 years. Love it.
In the last 3 months I've had a ton of friends come visit, and everyone adores it. Lots of "can't believe I've been to New York 3 times but never bothered to come here" type reactions. My parents were the same.

What I do need to figure out is where the good dance music is. I've been to smartbar and spybar and had good times, there has to be stuff like Cityfox in NYC, warehousey type stuff....
