imo Robinson/Pickford/Butland is a toss-up as is Walker/Neville so that's one player (Walker > G. Nev as a wing back).

Ferdinand/Terry/Cole are locks/

Hargreaves was really good and definitely makes it.

Kane over Joe Cole obviously.

Three from Sterling/Beckham/Gerrard/Lampard is tough (Scholes was retired).

So Kane definite, goalie/Walker/Sterling maybe?
No way sterling gets near this team with a ten foot pole. Especially over the three you mentioned.

martial not in the france squad, bet he loves jose

Lacazette, Martial, Coman and Benzema not included. Not a bad team of rejects from France.

**** me that's terrifying.

Brazil also left out Oscar and Sandro. GG England.

Coman's been injured from February up until now though. How did Benzema's blackmail saga end btw?
05-17-2018 , 05:42 PM
I'm surprised Rabiot has been left out. He's been very good all season imo.

Vincent wasn't playing but I know what you mean
05-17-2018 , 06:08 PM
No payet either. Glad mendy made it
05-17-2018 , 07:59 PM
France is in our group and the 23 man France squad of players who didn't make the cut would destroy us
05-18-2018 , 01:05 AM
ya france's B and C teams are generally ludicrously talented, however it doesnt stop them from going out in the group stage with no goals scored about 45% of the time

i made a summer transfer rumour thread https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/4...-goat-1712241/

Mustafi as defender of the year ... this seems less legit

though Pope in net should make TP happy
Eriksen over Firmino is incorrect

2006 beckhan wasnt all that and rooney had the broken metatarsal and shouldn't have played (before being sent off) iirc

To keep the universe in balance, Steve McClaren has just taken the QPR job.

Everything in perfect balance as all things should be.

Reading the Independent's article about Arteta being the next manager with Santi Cazorla as the assistant.

What struck me is the following:

Quote:
Arsenal likely to only have a transfer budget of around £60m that presents something of a stumbling block.
that is what..a less experienced defender in the current market? A bit hopeless that we need a keeper, defender and a midfielder as well. Maybe Santi and Arteta will pull out a magic spaniard from the hat and we could get some City reserves as loans.

My point: this could turn out to be trainwreck
