Q. Say you asked 100 pundits to name England's actual starting XI v. Tunisia. Which players get picked the most?

e.g I think Kane & Sterling get picked 98-100 times, right? Then Walker 95 times? Ali 80 times? And everyone else < 60 times?

Eto'o. People don't realise how good this guy was for Inter.

Maybe I'm underrating Beckham, because his best years I think came before I was watching (and not getting to see much english football) but Figo vs him seems like a mismatch.

Ballack vs Lampard?

Coutinho
Aguero (biggest landslide)
Figo
Iniesta (closest one)

Aguero being a landslide seems wrong. PL fans prob only remember the "can't do it in big games" narrative. I don't watch Serie A so I can't choose but he's scoring loads.

Who is going to be England goalie? Is there a chance for Pope? That would make a good narrative .

Looking at the schedule, that June 28th game England vs. Belgium should be some game..especially if you are a Spurs fan..

Ye, no disrespect intended, but the biggest gap there is probably Figo to Becks.

How about Captain Leader Legend vs Rio?
03-22-2018 , 05:26 PM
Based on his career trajectory I think it's likely Pope is an average goalkeeper who has played well for 20 or so matches, but Heaton & Pickford also came from the lower leagues so who knows. I don't think any goalie gets close to 50 votes.

Scholes vs Starfish would be a good one

i feel like becks gets underrated cos of his pop culture status

dunno if he was any good for madrid, but his assist numbers for mun were insane. ozilesque

Since it's international AIDS break I hope it's ok to ask a complete OT questions.

On tapatalk is there a way to "un-participate" from a thread? Basically if you wrote something once in a thread that is completely terrible is there a way to get it off your feed?

It probably didn’t live up to his cringey tweets, but 29 goals and 10 assists in all comps at his age is pretty impressive.

Also, just fell down a rabbit hole of Zlatan goal compilations on a YouTube. No one scores goals quite like him.

Rio over Terry.
Scholes over Starfish.
Eto'o over Drogba.

Don't think I am being particularly biased there but I am sure it will seem like it. They were just better players.

Laudrup vs Larsson is a classic.

Stoichkov vs Hagi.

Henry Vs Van Nistelrooy.

Keane Vs Viera.

Del Piero Vs Totti.

Henry over RVN isn't even close tbh. RVN was absolutely clinical, but Henry was just on a different level.

I'd probably take Vieira over Keane. But, I think that one is a ton closer than the Henry/RVN.

Totti over Del Piero mostly because I'm just a big Totti fan boy

Terry just totally superior to Rio. Actually asking the question is just silly.

I hope you mean Brian because Michael Laudrup vs Henke Larsson would be the most lopsided yet.

Also finally booked my itinerary for Italy. Really wanted to explore amalfi coast as I’ve heard nothing but great things but will be going to Florence & Venice. Heard Florence is amazing and mixed reviews about Venice. Either way I’m excited.

Surprised every non-plopper has picked Eriksen. I think it is really close. Chris definitely much better without the ball though.

We need a real matchup in here:

Crouch versus Heskey
03-23-2018 , 12:02 AM
Crouch because of his twitter game and overall superlikeable peronality. Oh and GOAT celebrations
03-23-2018 , 12:16 AM
heskey was proper good for leicester back when he had some pace, in a way that crouchie never really was
03-23-2018 , 02:10 AM
I've never really been a fan of Coutinho. Plop's form since they sold him kind of backs that up although maybe he's tearing it up at Barca, idk.

OTOH, Spurs look aids whenever Eriksen is missing. I think we'd miss him more than Kane tbh.
