Big game coming up shortly.

Forestieri is back after 3 match suspension. Loves the big TV games and it doesn't get bigger than this in The Championship.

I thought we'd lineup a bit more defensively than usual but we haven't done that. Also, Kieran Lee is injured and that's a huge blow. I think we're going to get dicked in midfield and I'm a bit worried. I get the feeling we're going to have to score a couple to get anything from this game. We haven't looked like doing that lately but then we've been missing Forestieri. Fingers crossed on this one!

I've got nothing on this one, awful game. Happy for the three points though.

Edit: Just seen Karanka's interview. Not sure what Burnley have done to upset him, but he really doesn't like us.

Newcastle not looking great at the moment against SW. Have had a couple of good chances, though, but had to rely on a great save not to be behind.

Before today we had scored six league goals in open play all season. Swansea were so poor that we are now up to a whopping nine.

Two great saves.

This is heading towards 1-0 Newcastle. Penalty probably.

That worked a treat!

0-1 Wednesday. 100% deserved.

I've really enjoyed this one. Nice to see them put a marquee Championship game in primetime. Newcastle keeper was unreal. They should prob be losing by more. Wednesday have been excellent and Wallace should be off for them.

Got to be happy with that!

Kind of our season in a nutshell though. We're making the chances to put games to bed but often only just winning, and sometimes missing out when we shouldn't. Hopefully Gary Hooper will be back soon.

Sam Hutchinson is a beast and a big reason we were able to nullify Newcastle like we did.

He is touted as one of Mourinho's proteges and there are quite a few similarities.

Tactically, he sets his teams up with the number 1 priority of not conceding. Also, he's pleasant enough when results are going well, but when they are not, has an air of insanity and is a bit of a **** too. Just like Mourinho.

He was talking some ****e again tonight. Apparently his team "once again" showed they were better than Burnley. I wonder if he thought the last time they showed that was last season when they finished 4 points behind us.

He also said that the only way we ever score is from long balls. In that case, maybe coach your team to defend against them better.

He does remind me a bit of Mourinho, without the track record of success.

---------------------

Good win for Wednesday, hope you make it this season. How's Jones doing? Saw he came off the bench tonight. Quite a few ex-clarets there now.

first west ham goal was vintage lolflopianski also Mhiki and Borini goals were supersweet

also can anyone explain me 2 things about the Watford-Palace game:

1. why wasnt Gomes booked when conceding the pen?
2. why is Benteke allowed to take pens especially with pen specialists in the squad?

We are 7th. Not sure how. Big 6 are a cut above this year like it used to be

We are 11th and are terrible. On that basis, you being 7th seems justifiable.

1. Should be a yellow

2. Scored 10 missed 4 in the PL which isn't a good record over small sample but some of the ones he scored were actually sweet while the ones he missed were terrible. I dunno about palace players pen taking abilities but with benteke being their most valuable player i'd think there is some value in letting him take them for satisfaction/price driving purposes ?

If that was some random midfielder going in like that on some other random midfielder on the half way line, do you think that's just a yellow?
