she knows now, but there was a few days in between 'sure ill be guarentor' and 'REJECTED' where she didnt

I think the BAIDS gap principle is solid here. Rejection isn't going to be immediate, and he might have time to get some in that time, particularly if he decides to make the all-in move of having "second thoughts" before the rejection arrives and the fate of the application is up in the air, but he can still withdraw.

There are worse ways to try get some (namely most the ones I have used)

Afraid it's not that easy based on my short experience using tinder back in the days.

Competition is just way too strong and you basically have to commit lots of effort trying to be original and interesting (photos, profile description, opening lines) if you want to have a chance which is mentally tiring, I wouldn't exactly describe it as mindlessly swiping and get laid in return. unless you're a chick of course

arse-spuds should be the early saturday game; as I said a few weeks back the computer still thinks spuds are in the europa league. I don't think you can adjust the setting and poch is doing his best to make sure the system doesn't collapse by making sure they slip back in unnoticed early next year.
