Yea and Chillwell and Amavi and some others. At this point I'll be happy with any of them. Moreno is such a liability.

We need a LB AND a second fullback that preferably can cover both RB and LB. I know there's time but while we're spunking 25m on Wijnaldum and 38m on Mane (who tbf I actually like and does serve a need) I'd like to see us address LB and CM, as in a true holding CM. I also want to see Grujic given a solid run so maybe that's the answer.

I agree too re: home and away sides but then I'm not sure we should be selling Lucas. Are gonna roll with Emre Can as the only real "midfield enforcer"? Is he even that? He seems to like to get forward and has shown to be effective doing so. He's also probably our most inconsistent player. I worry about the West Ham and Watford away's of the world and our midfield just getting absolutely pummeled. I can see the benefit of playing an Origi over Sturridge in that scenario but it will be interesting to see what Klopp does. Also playing every other week (or in the case of the start of the season not playing for 4 weeks) probably doesn't thrill too many players.

I'm a big fan of Chilwell. Hope he stays at Leicester, at least for this season.

Pretty sure even if the salary was a fraction of what it is, the job would still be the pinnacle of any English manager's aspirations, especially for someone like Big Sam whose claim to fame is never being relegated. As someone who always gets the best out of crap teams, he'll probably be perfect for England right now.

I had a dream last night, it was December and that Wenger had a heart attack then was rushed to the hospital. Thankfully his condition stabilized and had to retire from football management and requested that he be replaced by this guy...

Spoiler:

I'm proud that I remembered Vaz Te still exists. That's all that matters for me.

I got 12 and I had to cheat on the spelling on a couple too. I could have been there for weeks and not got one of them.

Sounds like Steve Bruce has resigned, you could sense it was coming. He was so vocal about wanting the England job and Hull also only have 13 senior players fit, long term injuries as well.

I wonder if Bruce fancies the Sunderland job?

Last edited by Consty; 07-22-2016 at 09:32 AM. Reason: or he's got the England job?

I legitimately think in this day and age a manager could manage both a club and a country without losing much, especially a country like England where pretty much your entire talent pool is playing in the same league you're managing him so you see/scout them on a weekly basis. International management just seems like a huge joke.

Conflict of interests is one obvious reason that wouldn't work.

He's pally with Allardyce so it could be either.

This. When i do this on FM I'm super unethical. Basically treat non-tournament games as reserve games for my young English talent.

That and in this instance he's going to have to fly halfway around the globe when he should be doing drills with the Tottenham stiffs.
