Hardly great tbh
They were very hard to break down. The reason there was a lot of sideways passing is because they were content with 10 just outside their own box for a lot of the match.

Probably because we were 2-0 up for a lot of the match.

Wasn't knocking your team, just explaining since KW said he hadn't seen the match.

I'm kind of thinking it's the same thing that happened with us, Fergie refusing to pay agents fees etc think Wenger might be the same. Once he's gone it's open cheque book time in north london too.
I love Wenger to death, but his post-match explanation was that he has to make sure all of the club's 600 employees are able to be paid before spending money on transfers. I think he might actually be losing it.

Must be talking about the 600 employees working on the owner's latest yacht
08-20-2016 , 03:50 PM
God dammit Wenger, what a troll
08-20-2016 , 03:54 PM
you just know that the next time Mourinho is asked about transfer activity he's going to reply along the lines of "idk, we need to make sure we have enough to pay the tea lady before we can commit to any more players"

One of the Glazers lives fairly close by, might go burn his house down.

That's pretty obvious though, might have been different if it was 0-0 for longer but Burnley scored in the opening few minutes. As the weaker side they have every right to sit back and defend. Plop just weren't good enough to break them down.

This isn't a new thing, Burnley would be idiotic to continue to attack and try to dominate the ball. When going into the lead.

Even the heat map is pathetic (from a plop pov)

Got to try something different when plan A doesn't work.

This is glorious.

KW,
Like I said, I wasn't trying to take anything away from Burnley.
But there's a difference between sideways passing when there are equal player distribution across the pitch and side ways passing when you're trying to break through 10 man behind the ball all clustered around the penalty box.

World class trolling by Wenger.
