He's number 1 in saves, massively clear of any of the other contenders (https://www.premierleague.com/stats/...?po=GOALKEEPER)

Joing 5th in clean sheets, despite playing for the worst team in PL history (https://www.premierleague.com/stats/...?po=GOALKEEPER)

And is first is save % according to NBC (http://scores.nbcsports.com/epl/play...p?category=107)

If Cahill had played in a flat 4 all season no way is he in the team.

Also have not watched enough Spurs to see how well Walker has been playing, is Moses not a shout for that position?

Sounds like Joe Gomez getting a start for Liverpool this weekend. Lovren our only fit CB.

Nope. I'm not even sure Moses is better than Trippier.

The one thing that stuck out from both games was, despite how even it was in all other areas of the pitch, how much better our full-backs were than Chelsea's.

For a combined Chelsea/Spurs team, I'd go:

Then there are only 1-2 players; Mane, Sanchez, Lukaku from other clubs worth considering.

How many Utd players would get in the Spurs team?
04-20-2017 , 07:15 AM
0

Big call leaving out Lingard
04-20-2017 , 07:19 AM
I'm pretty sure that the correct answer is LOL UTD.

I swear i once saw a very similar team play against Iceland and get knocked out
04-20-2017 , 07:43 AM
think that was around the time when belgium's golden generation were tucked into bed by hal robson kanu
04-20-2017 , 07:46 AM
If those Icelandic players were in the EPL they'd obv get in ahead of all of them.

Wait, you'd really go Costa over Kane?
04-20-2017 , 08:07 AM
Yep. I mean, it's really close and Costa is obviously having a dip now, but then Kane had one at the start of the season so recency bias, etc etc.

Goes back to the point I made about Costa scoring more often in tight games a few days ago. Plus, Kane has missed a chunk of the season through injury.

We got five in the L1 team which seems solid
04-20-2017 , 08:29 AM
Got our centre backs in, have conceded less goals than anyone in the football league structure down to National League South so well deserved I guess. Now if we could just score some that'd be lovely

As someone who never posts ITT but reads every post I just wanna say it's ****ing great to have BAIDS back.

DDG nailed on.

Gone are the days where we could just cherry pick spurs' best players.

Sanchez agree actually, should be in it too.

Traffic and post counts are up - we'll get that travel ban imposed. Your role and fate has been decided.
04-20-2017 , 10:26 AM
Holding played great for Arsenal. Playing with 3 CBs again is definitely worth considering.
04-20-2017 , 10:32 AM
Pogba's a sub for Spurs? Come on now.

He wouldn't be able to hold his ground in a midfield of only 2 players thou.
If spurs played some sort of 4-3-3 or a diamond midfield, sure.
In Spurs 5-2-3 line up? No way
