I can argue up to 4 as best itl at their position. Can't justify eriksen or alli types cuz somebody has to match up against the likes of hazard and Sanchez. Most obvious is toby. I do believe the fullbacks are the best. To some extent this is down to poor competition. Kane is in the discussion but can see people with many different views there. Hugo in the discussion too but I'd give the nod to DDG.

Dembele should probably be in there (the discussion that is) too if you don't match him with DMs like kante (cuz Vic should be the parallel in that spot).

Spurs have at most two players who are best in their position. Alderweireld and Walker. Not buying arguments for a single other player.

Put it this way, if Spurs genuinely did have 7 players who were the best in their position they'd have won the league already like Celtic. It's obviously bollocks.

your second point also isn't true. it is exactly what daca said. having the best defenders is not nearly as useful as the best attackers. kane is the only one we have in the convo out of our front 4. eriksen and dele are solid top 3-5ers, but not the best.

i dunno what an outside back is or anything, but in honour of cashy i'm having kosgoat > spurs CBs. If he played in an even remotely structured defensive unit he'd be mentioned as one of the best itw.
