Yea well makes sense to lock in some money while you can knowing that you'll be getting a bump anyway soon enough if you're performing. With 4.5 years left on his contract he doesn't exactly have much leverage going for him
The risk of suffering a serious injury is real and while it's so low that it may be worth taking the risk, good luck telling that to a kid who may have been making very little money and who's being proposed enough money to be settled for life already basically.
Kane is making £35k a week it's not like Spurs have a habit of splashing huge amount of money anyway so asking for £50k after half a season does seem a little bit excessive
