Re: English Football 2015/16
it's taken me almost 14 years, but I have finally persuaded my child to come to an Everton game with me. In before depressing 0-0 draw at home vs Watford in the rain!

Welbeck is the inverse of your average player.
Rubbish in the EPL, brilliant in an England shirt.
How is this possible? I blame the Cern particle accelerator. It's inadvertently created some kind of anti matter which has reversed the laws of football.

Re: English Football 2015/16
He's not rubbish in the EPL though, he's frustrating in-front of goal but is very good at what he does and is tactically disciplined as well which is key for a team like Arsenal or even us. A great player to have in the squad.

honestly dont see why people care. Everybody knows we are a stepping stone. Every team is a stepping stone apart from 5 teams. People need to stop giving into this whole PR bull**** .
number 1 hated question journos ask. "what do you think of the fans/atmosphere of the club youre about to join?"
whats the point

I'm sure this will go over well, especially with the RAWK crowd.

Format will be as follows:
- Snake draft picking 2xGK, then 5xDEF, then 5xMID, then 3xFWD each
- Highest scoring 11 of your 15-man squad will count each gameweek (pts and gameweeks as per FPL site)
- $50 each, winner takes all at end of season
Here's the draft sheet we'll be using. Anyone can play around with the selections column to see how it works as the rest of the sheet is protected. Obviously the order will be randomised before we start.

If there's still room I'm in

In.
I'm on holiday in Tenerife until Friday, so won't be able to do it until after then. We should probably wait until as close to the start of the season as possible anyway.

With regards to Balo, in the language of football journalism cliches...
"There's definitely a player in there somewhere."

Re: English Football 2015/16
less than 3 weeks to go fellas, feeling like it could be a goat level season
on the down side, less than 2 months to go until the worst international break of the year

Re: English Football 2015/16
I won a $20 CASH PRIZE in a recent baids quiz, and I pledged to pay it forward at some point. So, assuming the IKTS buyin is set at $20, I'll pay the entry fee for the winner of my own TRIVIA EXTRAVAGANZA.
It's not easy to set a quiz that can't be quickly solved by cheating via Google, so the questions may be somewhat arbitrary. But I'll come up with something and the contest will begin at some point after I finish work tomorrow so stay tuned!
