In before weds weren't in the prem then
Pretty sure they were. Also think they beat us in the league cup final that year.

Premier League didn't exist in 91

In the USA it did! AND YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN! Could have 91 or 95 or somewhere in between who the hell knows those years are all the same

I do not know what you mean, as a matter of fact

That when I was in elementary school Sheffield Wednesday were in the top flight of English football

First football match I ever went to was Wednesday. Derby are the closest geographically, Brighton have Super Chrissy Hughton in charge, and I quite like Hull/Bruce too.

Would be pretty happy for any of them to go up, although I guess I'll root for Brighton as they were pretty unlucky to miss out automatically.

I'm curious LFC_USA, why did you choose Liverpool to support?

Was it due to Ian Rush's mighty moustache?

you don't choose liverpool, liverpool chooses you.

its actually in their dna when they are born

One of my best and worst football memories are both v Sheff Weds. My first ever away game was there in 98. Ian Wright scored on his debut right at the end for a 1-0 win. Everyone went nuts right up the top behind the goal and I got kissed on the head by some random fat old man. Good times. Was also there when we got stuffed 4-0 at home by them in the return fixture, one of only 2 matches I have ever left early in my life.

Anyways tldr, csb, hopefully welcome back Sheff Weds!

I think my first away day was at Hillsborough when I went up to watch Cambridge United beat them in the coca cola cup in 1998. Trevor Benjamin scored iirc.

One and only time at Hillsborough I seen them beat Spuds 3-0 with 2 Mark Bright goals.

Sharing a train back to Chesterfield with salty Spuds and pretending I didn't know the score was the best part.

lol. The Spurs fans may not have been bothered as they may have been expecting to lose anyway.

Lads, all men must vacation.

While I pray to the old gods and the new that tomorrow will not be st totteringham's day, I will be on a plane to Florida regardless, and the friends I'm going with don't follow EPL at all. So if the worst should happen you can spare a laugh at my expense as I will have indeed frowned at my phone score notification. But also know what is dead may never die and I will be nerding the **** out at harry potter land regardless.

COYS. See you in the Euro threads. #GAWA

1-0 Hull.

Over 2/1, can't believe I didn't pull the pin ffs.

And that's 2-0, huge deflection.

Game over.
