4-5-1 with rooney as the striker imo

Fabregas was Arsenal's captain and when he returned to Barcelona (his hometown) nobody said he's classless or called him ****!
Weren't loads of people really made at Cesc bc of the Barca-DNA bull****?

they were pissed off that he was going ldo, but most of arseland were at least somewhat understanding cos he was returning home. it was def a mitigating factor and was the reason he got 1/10th the abuse of rvp & nasri

ppl were more annoyed about barca's conduct rather than cesc's (had an arse friend recently bring up the world cup thing where the barca lads put a barca shirt on then still arsenal capt cesc, he's still red hot furious about that to this day)

ofc all that mitigation bollocks went headfirst out the window when he signed for chelski

I don't know why you are trolling me.

Take a look at everything I have posted in this thread the past few months and tell me what I said that made you so mad, bro?

I know..pick on the American Spurs fan..easy target.

The one flippant comment I made was to a bandwagon Lester fan which was made mostly in jest.

Next time I do that I will so there won't be any confusion..

In all seriousness, you're alright. Lots of your posts make me wince when I read them but you do seem like a nice guy.

I don't recall saying that. Obviously they were hoping for as much as possible, the CE was quoted saying they were going for a record tribunal fee, which I believe this is.

£8m is probably fair (I expect it will get to the full £8m), it pays for Andre Gray anyway. There's also a 20% sell-on clause attached.

I'm no sharp but for the life of me I can't see how there is any value in betting Leicester to win it all at odds under 3 figures (100/1+).

Someone confirm I'm right please.

Redkapp is rumoured to be taking the Nigeria job. Given how crooked that **** is he is going to fit right in.

obligatory swiss ramble link

There is no doubt that Leicester’s success has been largely built on the ongoing support from the owners, whose wealth comes from having an effective monopoly in duty-free rights at all airports in Thailand. According to the club, this meant implementing “a significantly enhanced football strategy to challenge for promotion as well as significantly in the infrastructure of the club.”

In plain English, the owners followed a strategy of funding hefty losses in the Championship in order to gain promotion as soon as possible to the Premier League (with all its associated riches). That might sound all too simple, but it’s easier said than done, as supporters of Nottingham Forest and Derby County (among others) would surely testify.

In particular, Leicester’s owners have exhibited a winning blend of patience in continuing to finance the club even after a series of frustrating near-misses, but also the requisite degree of ruthlessness, as shown by the dismissals of Paulo Sousa, with the team “not gelling” under his leadership, and Sven Goran Eriksson, who was fired after failing to achieve promotion and an inconsistent start to the following season.

The owners have certainly put their money where their mouth is, most evidently by converting over £100 million of outstanding loans into equity and purchasing the stadium from Teachers, an American pension fund manager. These were rightly described as “momentous gestures of their commitment” by chief executive, Susan Whelan, as they have dramatically improved the club’s financial security.

..

Indeed, following promotion to the Premier League in 2014, chairman Vichai Srivaddhanapraba outlined his plans for Leicester to reach the top five. He said: "It will take a huge amount of money, possibly £180m, to get there. That doesn't put us off. I am asking for three years, and we'll be there.”

At the time, that looked like a ridiculous statement, but the reality is that his club has achieved this objective in less time and after spending significantly less money.
Pretty obviously they have run well with the outcomes of the Mahrez and Conte signings - and with lack of injuries, but there's every reason to think that the owners have the funding and desire to try to continue making top 4 - it seems a little unlikely that the plan is to cash-out at the first opportunity

Those Bovada odds

teamodds
Man City+150
Arsenal+500
Chelsea+500
Man Utd+700
Spurs+800
L'pool+1000
Leicester+2000
WHU+10000
S'oton+15000

Spuds look good value? I mean, I don't see how Chelsea and Arsenal improve to being so much more likely to win the league.
