Clueless dutch fraud throws players under the bus:

“I have said everything in advance. We need quick, creative players. I’ve said that, also in the transfer period.

“That’s a tricky remark of me because I have to manage players whose quality is not always what I want. But still we are here, still we are fighting for the fourth place, also we are in the final of the FA Cup.”

We've completely wasted a year of Ozil's life. In his prime no less.

Depends on your point of view. Would probably get 7th without him

'Goal-scoring chance' kind of implies that Arsenal had someone capable of scoring in the first place.

Eh? 2nd is obviously greater than 5th, by actually a long way. And chelsea have had a terrible season. Hmmmmm, I suggest you reread my post, some people itt have phds here so I don't always post all the clues as obviously they're smart enough to figure it out for themselves.

5th is better than 9th.

Sort of funny how fickle the future line is.

Before yesterday's game, Lester was -200 to win the title.

Then Lester beat Swansea, as they were favoured to do.

Immediately after, the line swelled to -500..and that is where it is today..

In most worlds it is. But remember it's about perspective. I'll make sure to keep an eye on my inbox should any arsefan feel the need to gloat about their four place finish above us, but I can't be the only chelsea fan secretly very happy that we're avoiding europa league football next season. Doubt a stoke fan would think the same.

-200 to -500 really isn't that big of a swing, it's like going from 70% to 85% or something which seems more than fair considering getting 3 points is such a huge deal with so few games remaining even if they're big favorites to do so in the 1st place

or something like 9th. That would be embarrassing.

If you would have bet on Lester before the Swansea game, and then bet the same amount on Spurs after the Swansea game, you would have a very nice freeroll going for the title..

It's only down to the points difference between Leicester and Spurs. If we win tonight, it'll be back to about where it was before this gameweek - plus a little more in Leicester's favour.

not really, late in the season individual games are going to have a big difference in the final line. If tottenham wins, there will be a significant drop too, but not all the way back to -200.

Agree. Spurs are predicted to win 2-0 or 3-1..if that happens, Lester would probably be around -300, IMO..time is not Spurs friend..

Leicester weren't that big a faves to beat Swansea yesterday either, SP was 1.74, about 57%. Whilst it was seen as their banker game, it was still pretty significant.
04-25-2016 , 12:24 PM
markt thought there was about a 40% chance of leicester dropping points vs swanz, when that didnt happen a good chunk of spuds title equity evaporated and a win tonight wont be getting very much of it back
