Bit backwards to give props to LO for predicting Leicester would be 14th whereas he had Ranieri as 1st coach sacked
04-06-2016 , 12:42 PM
That explains his betting history as his prediction exceeds their pre season expectations.

andre you are a pathetic langerer tbh, i searched the word kante a while back to see who first mentioned his name on the forum and what was said, and it was you in multiple poasts calling him with all sincerity the lock of the week of the century to be a massive success, best league uhh import, etc. and that tongue in cheek poast is what you choose to langer?

pm for langering lessons, reasonable rates

I got untapped potential imo, might apply.

yeah my prediction of Leicester approaching mid-table security was based on Ranieri getting replaced by Christmas, so I take no credit for it.

Honestly there's very little about the way this season has played out that anyone is going to have accurately predicted. I actually laid both City and Chelsea for top 4 pre-season, but that was not because I expected either of them to actually fail. I was simply playing the market and I laid both bets off quickly for a small profit once it became apparent that Chelsea were going to struggle and City were going to walk the league. LOL at that. The whole season has been a massive head scratcher.

No props anyway, they predicted 13th at best. Typo in ducksauce's prediction, he meant spuds > utd.

too little too late, a team is the sum of its last 15 xfer windows. fab that the mad panic spending to try to cover up the years of neglect has failed
04-06-2016 , 05:16 PM
They seem to spend a reasonable amount of money every 3 transfer windows or so
04-06-2016 , 05:30 PM
toon net xfer dealings under ashley prior to this year was £20m over 8 years

Spoiler:
thats not £20m net spend fella, its £20m net received. fella

wage bill has risen from £74.6m/yr in 2007 (when fat mike took over) to a mighty £75.8m in 2016 according to the googles, which lags behind bog standard inflation and lags a million billion times behind blitw inflation.

back then their wage bill was about 40% higher than spuds', its now 40% lower. result: spuds are competing for a title, toon are about to be relegated.

its all fat mike's fault. a paltry £70m spent in tbtvditw era is very little compared to the above.

As if getting relegated wasn't depressing enough those numbers are just horrendous
04-06-2016 , 05:40 PM
i mean toon running a surplus at the same time as tbtvditw was passively doubling or tripling the value of the club in the space of a few years is just ashley trying to have his cake and eat it too. which is possibly why he's such a fat man

All I'm saying is when you account for this year it'll look slightly better. Obviously you can say 'too late', but he did pony it up eventually.

In short, I blame the fans.
04-06-2016 , 05:43 PM
Also, we have positive net spend and turn a profit and are crushing so anyone should be able to do it!
04-06-2016 , 05:44 PM
yea but its not like toon could call up liverpool at any time and sell them damaged goods at ludicrously inflated prices like for some reason u can

owait

villa have come up with a new badge to make them "more effective in the digital age"

presumably have removed the word prepared so as to avoid breaking the laws which govern false advertising

They should also rename themselves to Casterly Rock FC and adopt the motto "Hear me roar".

Pardon my ignorance but how can one be 500 buyins below ev in a month?

Were you playing 20 hours a day for 30 days?
