Welbz is good at movement, understanding the game and all that but does anyone really trust him scoring or creating with his feet? All his strong attributes seem like a more talented player could be trained to be just as good at. He's the homeless man's thomas muller.

More in reference to movement than insulting muller with playing styles. I have no alternatives. He definitely looks like the opposite of thierry henry.

poor man's jamie vardy all the way. will chase down lost causes and make opps punt it out for a throw in and force hurried passes for 90 mins. if he scored/created 25-30 goals a season instead of 6 he'd be great.

thierry welbecky is a physical freak(opposite of müller) with decent enough technique(rare for that type of player) and decent enough game intelligence(again rare for that type of player, most are oxdonks)
a very rich man's vardy if you will

i mean like when someone says lukaku is a physical freak i get it, a bloke that huge and strong shouldn't be able to beat people with pace as well as strength

welbeck elite physical tools with acceptable technique, game intelligence & movement
müller elite game intelligence and movement but no outstanding physical tools

so ye pretty much the exact opposite type of player ...

I like welbeck alot. He's smart athletic energetic and versatile. He's not a better cf than lukaku. Lukaku is only 22 and will get better. His shot contribution numbers are awesome for his age, and will likely still improve.

Biggest downside to rom is his price tag which makes him a victim of his own success. Everton should be able to get a **** load of money for him which severely limits the clubs he could end up at.

Not opposite like Muller is elite, my brother sucks at football, so they are the exact opposite.
