Pretty much. Chelsea have a shot at 5-6th but honestly without any European competition next season, and a decent summer, Chelsea will be close to favourites for the league.

Caybaye done his best to miss that joke pen.

Now let's see what Pardew has to say about that pen.

With Crystal Palace just having won over Reading, one could have done well blindly betting Premier League teams to beat Championship teams in the FA Cup..head to head, Premier League teams have only lost twice in 30 head to head meetings since January 1st.

The only losses I see are January 10th Oxford United over Swansea and February 20th Reading over West Brom.

In years past, I remember more upsets in the FA Cup..

Championship teams pitches are too good now. And they all try to play football against better football sides.

the magic of getting 150m or something for relegation means championship teams are actually sending on the kids in the not-actually-magical and broke as a joke FA Cup

just responding to tbtvditw incentives

I guess Oxford United actually plays in League Two..but you get the idea..

Chelsea getting knocked out after being 2 up was probably the biggest upset of all time.

First match at Goodison for new Everton owner, too. One time, dealer!

don't think burns or tmsw18 have popped in, but Villa a completely ****ed imo - they probably will be relegated to League 1 - promotion chances next season are ~1:1000

they were perfectly awful last year when Pulis/Ben Foster inspired chucking them a lifeline in the league when they should have gone down (as well as tilting off the FA cup 6th round) - and they are much worse this year with a manager who doesn't know wtf is going on.

this got me thinking, if we were pricing up next season's league right now I agree I'd have Chelsea ahead of everyone except City. I'd also have Leicester at around 500/1.

Funny old game!

500/1 waaaay too long imo, i'd say more like 40/1

but maybe you'll appreciate an upset in another cup: Chelsea x Monaco

ok .. but how rich is the guy that owns them in comparison to Abramovich?
03-11-2016 , 08:28 PM
upon further investigation, Skybet have Leicester at 50/1 for next season's premier league.

Full disclosure, they also have Everton at 40/1. So it's fair to say their odds are on the cautious side.

I think in terms of pure odds, you would have got more on Bradford to beat Chelsea once Chelsea were 2 nil up.
03-11-2016 , 08:43 PM
City, Utd, Chelsea change managers are the end of the season - which of them actually signs Vardy? (because Arsenal and Spurs don't). And where does Mahrez go?

 - maybe
03-11-2016 , 08:53 PM
mahrez -> barca, suarez -> city, unknown 17 year old -> arsenal, vardy goes nowhere
03-11-2016 , 08:55 PM
None of them sign Vardy

Can see Woodward going full scattergun again in the summer window. Think we'll see a lot of transfer action for all teams after this season.

Spurs 9-1 is a bit of a joke. 25-1 still seems short to me.

That's like the least bold prediction ever. Although there has been some talk of Jose bringing a Mendes puppet with him as DoF so there's a small chance we'll see a more efficient summer with less Bale/Neymar/Müller crap.
