Yep, Uri Geller using his mind to move the ball from the penalty spot in a helicopter flying over the stadium during England - Scotland Euro 96. I've checked the data and it seems legit.

I must have been mistaken, I always thought it was that the skirt-wearer lost his bottle and took a ****e penalty. If anyone wants to step up then go for it, alternatively I'll produce another masterpiece tomorrow morning.

Said skirt wearer went on to win a glorious treble while The 3 lions showed how to really lose your bottle when it matters.

Think Uri missed the Germany game.

Indeed, but they did make it to the point where it matters. If we were going for excuses then I would hope we could have done better than that though.

Union play 60 on Sunday but I probably couldn't deal with the 1:30 kick-off after a night out. Especially miles out in the East of Berlin. Cool stadium and fans anyway.
Yeah, Union remains one of the best clubs I've been to in terms of atmosphere/experience, would def recommend it. Dunno too much in terms of clubs/pubs etc, only had a day and a bit there when I went, although I might return in may. Reichstag is free but you need to book in advance if you like that sort of thing, dunno how much lead time you need though

Don't remember Köpenick being that far out of town either

Yeah, well, it doesn't help that I usually stay on the other side of Berlin.

the protest was actually about away prices... teams usually hike up prices when big attendance draws come to town, so fans of Bayern/Dortmund/Schalke/Hamburg pay inflated prices for every away match they want to attend. This particular protest was about standing tickets costing 20€.

Of course, the Dortmund fans were even dumber about it than their plop counterparts. Their money went to the opposing team as ofc people paid the 20 bucks anyway, and stayed out of the stadium for the first 20 minutes. Ended up missing their team score the opener and came in just before the equaliser. They then deleayed the game by throwing tennis balls onto the field (including at their own player while he was taking a corner)

Tonight a team struggling not to get sucked into the relegation battle unfurl the superstar neither the manager nor his teammates want in the team or at the club. Want to hazard a guess as to who it might be?

Why do you keep stating or implying that Hazard is not wanted by his team mates or manager?
02-10-2016 , 03:24 PM
did we already do Fenway Sports apologising to the dippers for the "distress caused" by .. Christian Benteke .. £77 tickets?
02-10-2016 , 03:25 PM
never in the field of ticket price conflict was so much owed by so many to so few

I'm led to believe the administration of the club concerned thinks he's underperforming (in comparison to last year) and the player/his agent want a move to a bigger club - preferably one with Champions League ambitions

Are we playing tonight? Hard to keep up as I'm 20% through my reassignment to lolutd fan.

Overconfidence is worse than under-confidence. Someone like Cristiano is probably insecure from growing up poor. Any time a teammate doesn't pass to him or he doesn't do his hair perfectly is the equivalent of him being kicked back into his ****ty upbringing.

I think the Baggies might be my least favourite Premiership side now, I really struggle to focus on their matches. Doesn't help with listening to Pulis screaming at his players all game either.

Mike Summerbee on telly again and he wasn't as mad as a bottle of chips.

Wtf?

The kid Samuelsen looks not bad, plenty of skill. Quick wiki check says West Ham own him already.
