£20m contract for a bloke who was playing for fleetwood town a couple years ago in his mid 20s. quite a story.

bike photoshop inaccurate. spurs should be ahead of the crashing city and arsenal, well ahead of arsenal.

lazy work.

Bundesliga equivalent would be 1860 Munich winning this year

Was my first thought, too (it was 98, though).

Pretty good comparison.

Has there ever been another stance in one of the big league in the last few years where 4 different teams were title favorites on separate occasions during the season?
02-06-2016 , 06:56 PM
the other year when Gerrard fell on his arse the title odds seemed to shift daily between plop, arse, chelski and eventual winners city from like feb-may

Last edited by LostOstrich; 02-06-2016 at 06:58 PM. Reason: in fact MOYES UTD were prob favourites preseason

Chelsea pre season/start of season.

City after a couple of games until today, with Leicester. No?

Don't think Arsenal have been favourites...

Nope, don't think so.

I'm pretty sure City have always remained favourites even though every single 'model' had Arsenal.

Don't think Arsenal where favourites during that season either.

Arsenal were favourites when they beat city.

West brom price to go down is tempting. Difficult run before games against norwich / sunderland with spurs / city away to follow. Plus they have trouble shooting.

yeah Arsenal def peaked as favourites at some point that season. And Utd were pre-season faves.

Post Fergie title win. Beginning of summer chelsea/city/utd around the same price, by end of transfer window they weren't.

Pretty sure, even while Arsenal lead early on and for a few weeks, they were never favourites in gerrard falls over season.
02-06-2016 , 07:12 PM
naw they were like 1.9 at peak odds iirc. have never been more than a cpl points ahead of city
02-06-2016 , 07:14 PM
We just walked the league under the GOAT the previous season.

Just had a quick glance at that season, Arsenal went 5 points clear after 10 games and looks like about 18. Then the gap closed and they fell off.

Must have been favourites then
