Spurs tanking a competition and busting the other on the same week would be glorious tbh

Is that Song, or did West Ham sign Edgar Davids yesterday

Heh, was like that earlier as well except on a different level, ordering a pint at about 1350 and refresh and see 20 posts in a minute and think "Leicester scored again, didn't they?"

Apart from villa getting the points and our 0.07xG it's been a fairly GOAT day

^ I think they should tank the cups.

When was the last time they were 2nd this late in the season? Who knows when this opportunity will present itself again.

Two legitimate six pointers for the title next week. Pretty great.

Their chances of winning the league are way higher than winning Europa league anyway. Might as well go all in.

Idk. Kane is the only spot I really worry about. We are in a good spot in the attacking 3 behind with Eriksen, Alli, Lamela, Son, and Chadli (even Carroll) vying for time. Son should grab another game at striker to spell Kane hopefully. Then Poch just needs to make sure he finds a game or two to sit Dembele and Dier. We have Bentaleb, Carroll, and now Mason again so we can make this work playing 7 or 8 starters each Europa game.

Southampton are motoring

Just seen a really crappy archive photo of Huth while he was in Union Berlin's youth team, good lord

It would be pretty spursy to end up back in the europa league trying to win the europa league.

And Alderweireld. Rest of the post is spot on though. My guess is most of the team won't play more than 3 games in a 2 week spell, and most ties in the EL will now be in Western/Central Europe so travelling isn't as much of an issue. Plus after our away trip to Fiorentina, we have the FA Cup (home, Palace), and Swans at home after the home leg.

Poch has done a great job of rotating recently, as evidenced by Alli today. They played 7 games in January, which was the most this season, and look full of running this afternoon.

If Chelsea end up costing Leicester the league on the final day by attempting to win (a long shot), then I will be supporting lolutd from next season and beyond. Hopefully membership is still valid.

Yeah exactly. Once the oil clubs and mun get their **** together spurs won't have a shot at the title, but that 5% EL equity is always gonna be there so who cares about that. Especially when they are like one Kane injury away from risking losing 4th to mun, it seems really dumb to do anything other than 100% focus on the league.

NBC graphic has Southampton rocking the old 3-2-3-2 from Champ Manager 01

Personally I want us to go full strength and try and win the EL

You'll be welcomed. We're going to need an experienced head to show us the way of the cult.

Well of course, there's a champions league place at stake.

Poch to play full strength, LVG to rotate. #decisionmaking

If Mourinho does take over at United what way would that sit with Chelsea fans? Still their hero?

I'd actually forgot about getting a CL place through it. Gogogogogo

There will be blood. Langer will log in to change his location and avatar. I don't care, I've already booked a ST at OT for 2.5 years.

maybe the large number of mega£ teams around the world and lack of one or two utterly dominant (in terms of £) teams, ie what we've been used to, will mean the really top tier talent just gets spread out much more thinly

might open the door for tier 2 btvditw teams, all of whom can afford to buy and keep a payet, to bink more often than usual. shrug
