For the record Keane is still a ****. Although he did take the piss out of every Protestant in the hotel which was a brave move lol. He was asked about N ireland in the euros and he responded with "they'll be lucky to win a corner".

Also he blamed everyone else but himself for the things that went wrong in his career. Never his fault.

Can the best posters in the best thread on 2+2 solve this puzzle?

Keane just seems like a miserable man who hates everyone and everything. His behavior as Sunderland manager really represents how big of a **** he really is.

Keane GOAT. Zero fücks given.

Ref Sunderland

Ellis Short bought the club and started giving him a hard time. Keane was commuting from Manchester and Short wasn't pleased with that. Said he should be living in the city. Shortly after he was gone.

Well that's Keane's version of events.

Well if Keane wants to travel a 200 mile round trip every day then that's up to him.

I can't help but think that Short would have kept him in a job if Sunderland weren't so **** at football.

Told a funny story about his time at United.

They all got £800 cheques for doing some magazine interview. This is back in 95 or so. So in the dressing room they all put the cheques in a hat and whoever's got pulled out kept the lot. The younger ones got the option whether to put it in or not. Scholes and Butt put theirs in but the Neville's (he really doesn't like them lol) and Beckham didn't, they kept theirs. So the name was drawn out and Cantona is the lucky man so he ships £16k. Next day he lands in with £16k in cash. Throws £8k to Scholes and £8k to Butt and says there you go lads that's for having the balls to put the cheques in.

Anything about his time at Villa?
02-05-2016 , 07:24 AM
I hope he went a bit further than "they'll be lucky to win a corner" in his quest to insult every protestant in attendance.

Actually didn't mention Villa at all.

Marty,

He said the sole reason he joined Celtic (which was the worst offer on the table at the time) was to play again Rangers cause he "fancied" a bit of that. He said a couple of other things which probably didn't go down to well but you kinda had to be there. He mentioned James McClean in a funny way which brought a few awkward laughs lol

Said he had an 18 month offer from Real Madrid on the table at the time.

So he refused Real Madrid and took the worst offer solely to play v Rangers.

OK then.

I think most would see it that he actually wanted to play for Celtic and his ****ty money/games v Rangers were just part of the package.

Only repeating what he said last night. Calm the head.

Didn't want to move to Madrid with his family for a short time was his reasoning for not taking that offer. He would fly to Scotland from Manchester to go training, I never knew he didn't move up there full time.

Also didn't know he had basically signed for Blackburn before his move to United from Forest. Then Fergie stepped in and that was the end of that. Dalglish was going mental over it all.

He mentioned it in his first autobiography, king Kenny was made as **** over it too.
