Man, getting Furcal back for down the stretch in September would be very sexy. Also, Colletti is obv a genius, gogogogogogogo Manny etc.

Any news on getting Maddux? Apparently it could happen, but obv the Dodgers shouldnt be giving prospects. Which means Colletti will prob give away the farm.

Flew back to LA last night for my parents 25th anniversary today.

I'm trying to figure out how this happens - Jackson and Young collide on the way to a fly to left-center, both are knocked unconscious, then both Drew and Reynolds run out to retrieve the ball and there's noone to cover 3rd?

So, all three sides of the deal happy short-term - Manny's rolling in LA, Bay's raking in Boston, LaRoche/Moss both homered today in Pittsburgh.

Manny seemed pretty impatient up there the last few nights, trying to make a good impression on the fans.. reminds me of Andruw, only with pretty different results.

Overwhelming sense of dread for 2 minutes, then validated.

Have the Dodgers beat the Cardinals since Limatime down 0-2 in the playoffs a few years ago? It sure as hell doesn't feel like it.

Ugh, Webb being Webb against the Pirates, most likely 2.5 back after tonight.
