A disturbing trend in televised tennis

I've been watching a lot of tennis this year. Almost every time a player makes a correct challenge, they zoom in on the linesman who made the call in question. WTF is that? When I see a bad call, I don't immediately think "OH MAN I HAVE TO SEE WHAT THAT LINESMAN LOOKS LIKE, I JUST GOTTA SEE THAT MOFOS FACE."
I'm pretty sure all the linesman are old retired dudes who are volunteering to do this. They're going to make mistakes. They already have to deal with dirty looks and harassment from the players, do they really need to be publicly shamed for thinking the ball was 1/8th inch off the line when it actually caught the line? The only difference I can see this making is that linesmen will get more nervous and more afraid to make bad calls, which of course will lead to more bad calls.

They laughed at Louis Armstrong when he tried to go to the moon, but now he is up there, laughing at them.

i totally agree, these people are doing a good job ~99% of the time.
its not there fault that they cant read a 125mph serve that misses a line by a milimetere every single time.
