Did anyone else see the singer for Def Leppard put the stanley cup down on the table upside down tonight?

And then immediately try to cover it up by asking rhetorically, "What do we know? We're soccer fans" or some rubbish like that.

Jesus christ. Is this the state of the NHL now. Washed up musicians playing a crappy ass concert before a 10:20pm matchup.

I hate being a hockey fan right now.

I don't like the fact that anyone can handle the cup. I think only players who won it should be allowed to lift it over their heads.

Clearly your sport needs more fights where one goalie just skates over and attacks the other goalie for no reason. That will pull the super-casual fans back in.

yeah clearly since if patrick roy's son hadn't been involved no one would've heard about it or cared.

i think it's rather fitting that the islanders opened the market - they're going to tank this season as well.

i was also embarassed that they chose def leppard. i mean jesus christ could they have picked anything more whitebread and washed up?
