Imagine if they had gotten a legit draw last season. The sportsnation question would still be popping up with "will coach k ever win a national title again" 80% no vs 20% yes, with majority votes coming from New Jersey. Coach K just not a good in game coach. Belein dictated the last 10 minutes or so of the UM/dook game. Coach K was clueless on what to do to break the 1-3-1. Miller just straight up punked him last night, and also had Derrick Williams. Its incredible what happens when you have a coach and assistants who can coach up a frontcourt player huh dook fans?

Not a good in-game coach? Come on. Not up to his reputation? Sure. Being outcoached in-game by Belein or Miller, who are both great, doesn't mean he isn't good.

Yah, he's a better coach than most guys who recruit well.

He isn't been overly impressive in the tournament, even last year. He's struggled in the tourney a bunch the last 8 seasons by Duke standards.

I'm just glad we didn't get a repeat of last year's Duke title win.....and of course there is no chance of Duke-UNC in the tourney anymore.

I guess Zoubek was more important than we all thought (although Duke fans admitted he was a big key last year). They couldn't defend the paint against an NBA type athletic big and couldn't get rebounds...2 things Zoubek did pretty well. Plumlees are just too soft. I need to find a GIF of that air balled 8 footer by a plumlee....hilarious.

CBS writer Dennis Dodd is blaming it on chemistry....Kyrie coming back and forcing Nolan out of his usual role. Kyrie wasn't the real issue last night. The bigs of Duke were. Nolan wasn't right either though....................glad he's graduating.

Which was dook game prep, not Coach K great in-game coaching . IIRC Redick said they actually practiced the art of flopping lol. Such a bull**** game last year. I never said he wasn't an elite game preper, motivator, assembling a team that can shoot lights out, his in-game coaching has just never impressed me. Roy Williams sucks at it too. Basically I got Bilas' cell # about 5 years ago at a Final Four.

We continually drunk dial or just call him and talk **** about how bad he is, how Butler just keeps proving him wrong, etc.

Well finally last night he said he's had enough, said he's filing a police report on us, etc.

Mainly we just call him out for knowing little about bball (enter Bilas defenders) and all in all homering on Duke.
