In 2009 Davis caught 13 TD passes. The rest of his team combined caught 10. In context of the system and QB, that year overall was every bit as impressive as Gronk's season last year, probably moreso. He had 50% more catches and yards then anybody else on his team.

Well if anticipation is an athletic trait don't complain when morons try to claim poker is a sport.

Don't get me wrong, anticipation and all that helps you perform better on the field. It just doesn't make you a better athlete imo. Splitting hairs kinda, but Davis is = Gronk imho. Gronk is just younger.

Best player available in my opinion. Er, well, at any position I was willing to draft. He is clearly the second best corner in this draft. I don't think he should've been taken much earlier or anything just that this is the right pick. I vetted this well so I'm not concerned about regretting it later. Just lol he didn't make either all-pro team.

As soon as I saw the Gronk pick I figured it was fine but thought there would be something wrong if Davis wasn't gone within 5 picks of that one or at the worse the next tight end taken.
