Hopefully Matthew Hayden doesn’t get another commentary gig, can’t stand him.

Warner’s fielding has been phenomenal, as has Cummins bowling changes.

Don’t agree with the win predictor, I don’t agree that Australia is 71%. But I’m glad India didn’t score 300+ and kill the contest.

We were just saying the same thing about Hayden. He’s awful

What a **** pitch lol, Jay Shah thought he was going for war so prepared a minefield.

Similar to india england game where we scored 229, I reckon if we get the openers out early we have a good shot.

Semis were very similar if australia wasn't 60 after 6 overs I don't think they would've won it.

Inglis the first player ever to take 5 fielding dismissals in a World Cup elimination match

AUS 1/41 (3) chasing 241 to win.

I’m nervous as heck but I’m starting to believe.

But there’s a long way to go.

I am for some unknowable reason instinctively rooting for the scumbag cheaters in yellow here. Yuck.

Looks like India have blown it

I blame Sri Lanka for this. Aus were 0-2 and SL were 120/0 after 18 overs, and somehow conspired to get all out for 145. Changed the tournament.

All numbers approximate.

So obviously India omega choke their own tournament. So predictable.

This is a ridiculous innings from Head. I think I’ve been feeling the pressure more than Head and Labuschagne.

Can't believe Australia was absolute bottom of the table at one point.

What a snoozefest of a WC, other than Maxwells heroics in a dead rubber i cant remember a single moment.

That's a bit harsh.

If Afghanistan win vs Australia then they probably qualify instead of New Zealand. Hardly a dead rubber.

Angela Matthews timed out
New Zealand scoring 400 and losing
Fastest WC century ever
Etc

Far from a great world cup and way too long but still plenty to enjoy.

At least they did the right thing and gave POTT to Virat despite losing. I was a little worried Cummins was going to get it

If I'm a neutral I want the underdog to win.

Even if that's Australia.

In fact it did. Serves the Indians right for trying to fix a result with that pitch they produced.

I can. They played the 2 other best teams as their first 2 games. No other team had as hard a start as what the Aussies did but probably in the end served them well.

I think World Cups need quarter finals, another level of sudden death matches.

I see that the 2027 World Cup will have two groups of 7 with the top 3 progressing to a Super Six phase before the semi finals.
