Not with bazball - game goes full throttle into T20 mode. Don't worry about one day mode not enough time they have to take it up a notch

I actually wrote out a scenario earlier but it became too far fetched givent doesn't look like there'll be any play beyond day 3.

Need immediate 2 wickets and then try to bash as many as possible off 40 overs. Then skittle Australia for less than 100 and hope there's enough time left on Friday to somehow bash the runs.

Don't worry they will do it or bazball is for nothing

If we can put up 400 relatively swiftly and get aus back in late tonight it should be a win. Don't think Sunday is a total washout.

Markt has England win as the most likely result of the three

I for one have never doubted Zak Crawley, not even once, I always knew this was coming

Crawley should buy a lottery ticket.

How aggressive will England be with a declaration here? Do you put the Aussies back in tonight for an hour with any lead?

Lucky lucky Zack, 44% of his runs behind the stumps

I don't think so. If you assume that Aus score a minimum of 150, you may as well get that 150 now when you're scoring at 7+ an over and losing wickets is not a big deal.

I do think it's time to go into T20 mode and start slogging. 430 allout in a worst case scenario is fine.

Yep trying to hit every ball for 4+ is far superior to declaring until we have a decent lead or broad is next

Yea that seems like the best plan.

Weather report is clear for tomorrow.
Declare just before lunch tomorrow with a lead of 300

300 feels excessive given the weekend forecast. You might not need those runs but def need the 10wickets.

I'd take 250 very happily or even 180 but if we're scoring at 10ish an over then carry on for a bit

T20 it tomorrow. Think stokes and brook should've gone a bit harder tonight.

Take a boo Zak.

Looking at the forecast even tomorrow morning we will get a delay. Weekend looks like a complete washout. Aus need to get Zampa on the plane for the 5th test. No ifs or buts. Get him over here. Neser in for either Green or Hazlewood. I'll take Abbott in too. **** you selectors just make these moves.

Oh yeah Warner out too ffs
