Draw is the most common result in India. Shortening the match would make even more draws.

It makes it more like a one dayer and anything that can shorten the format of the game will only increase the competition for India. The Indian team is that good now they don't need to doctor the pitch anywhere close to what they are doing at present

It would also be nice to see the BCCI come down hard on its players like CA did after sand paper gate and at least rub Jadeja out for a game as we know the ICC are lenient when it comes to handing out penalties.

Yeah batting against any decent pace bowler at night with the pink ball is a challenge, every ball from those greats felt like a hand grenade, sort of happy to only lose 3 wickets.

Pitch should be lovely to bat on the next 2 sessions, looking for a Conway ton and a few 50s to compliment him.

England batting at 6 an over in the day then declaring for that last hr was brilliant

Maybe the Kiwi batsmen can get through it in which case they’ll deserve huge plaudits but this game is shaping up to be decided by the night sessions and NZ batting twice in them and England only less than one whole session

England gain credit for batting so fast during the day but it really sucks when a man made advantage decides a test.

I’ve never liked day night tests for other reasons (**** to attend) and I know cricket worships at the God of TV money but it’s annoying IMO
