This is unbelievable swing at the moment that Hazlewood is getting from the pink ball. The night is giving a pretty big advantage to the bowling team from what I can see and the end result for this test match might come down to which team can bat the best at night.

At this rate Aus wont have to bat 2moro night

Crucial 2 partnerships for us right now, gotta find a way to battle through till 2moro

****

We need some mccullum madness, a hundred at a run a ball with many knocks over the slip would be just what the doctor ordered

Game over

**** the day night tests its a lottery for who has to bat at night

lame

Lol NZ - should be half decent batting at night given their success in the shorter form of the game and this depleted Australian bowling line up.

The final 20 minutes of a day test match is turning into an hour for a day night test match for the nervous, shut down attitude that the batsmen are taking.

Also just quickly about the masseuse fielding for Australia that I reckon this is an off the cuff call from Boof. It has nothing to do with Australia not being able to arrange a first class fielder to field for them but it seems to be another example of Boof's eccentric over confidence.

lol sketchy snicko work. Basically not given out because snicko picks up no sound as the ball hits the bat. Also doesnt pick up any sound when the ball hits the batsman. Seems legit

03:23-03:26 , watch that in 2x speed, you'll notice a very very slight deflection. Anyway that was a very tough to decision to make

Actually you will notice a deflection on all the frontal shots that they show. I can't believe they didn't give that out as you can also see when they do the leg-side hot spot that a mark appears on the bat after the shot.

Just loldrs imo. Get rid of it. It is the most frustrating thing in any sport when they call for a replay/challenge a decision and the officials still get it wrong or it's still inconclusive.

Nah keep it. If they can't call those ones on the spot, what hope are we without a review system to catch these obvious mistakes?

Yeah, I get why it's generally considered "bad" in officiating, but I've always liked the element of error and chance in sport. Adds to the humanisation of it.
