Southee is really amazing in India. Incredible record for an overseas quick 50 wickets at 24 is no mean feat. Jamison looks amazing. If he can bowl for 10 years he will get 500 test wickets.

Yeah especially since I thought his career was done 3 years ago when I saw him as another Peter Siddle type bowler and low and behold Siddle is still playing 1st class cricket.

U sorta have to win the toss and bat first to have a good chance of winning over there which is annoying... I will be happy of we battle hard and make is as close as possible

Not really. You just don't want to bat last. That means if you lose the toss you have to make your first innings really count and not be in a position where you're chasing a big total in the 4th innings.

Had a free $2 sports bet with PokerStars and so I clicked on the cricket tab.

I picked the winner for two T10 games going that day and picked India to beat NZ.

The two T10 games went as I predicted and then I had a sweat on the test match.

Disappointed to have lost the bet, but when I logged into Stars my balance was higher than I'd expected. Turns out that they voided the test match and paid me out for the two T10 predictions.

Why would that have voided that match? Is it because it did go the full distance or just because it was a draw? Or something else?

I'd argue that you guys won the biggest toss of them all (Test Championship). iirc, with the rain and all, the toss had a fairly big impact.
