Just got home. That was a really bad game of football. Peru got exactly what they came for in getting to penalties so kind of rewarding to see them lose. Completely killed off the game and felt like there were 14 minutes of actual football left.

Crowd was good but not great even though the stadium was sold out and all sections were filled.

Fans were also pretty peaceful with one another with a lot of very friendly banter going back and forth. Not much hostility at least where I was or on the long walk down the ramps out of the stadium.

Had anticuchos and Carne asada con arroz in the parking lot after so all in a good day out

I remember at the WC when everyone on 2p2 had Croatia beating us in that final group match because they had Modric and Rakitic. well 2p2 was wrong then and you are wrong now if you think Chile has the better team.

It just feels like it's almost impossible for Argentina to mess up and not win this tournament. They are not losing to Venezuela or USA unless hell freezes over. Pretty sure Mexico has never beaten Argentina in history. MAYBE Colombia can do something if they get past Mexico or Chile. Long shot.
