I am so sick of how Indy always gets hooked up by the refs in the playoffs. It happens every year and it's a joke. Remember that Pete Morelli game against Pitt back in '05?

After the whole Tim Donaghy thing, these NFL refs should be closely watched. Gambling is 1,000 times bigger in the NFL than in all of the other sports combined, so the incentive is that much greater to cheat.

I'm sorry, but that was an utter b.s. call. Just total crap.

Cowher's analysis comparing this to the Pats game is right. This does have the same feel. Only difference is that the Chargers have made more mistakes in the 1st half than the Jags did.

Yeah, obviously the NFL is rigged. They wouldn't have anything to lose from an officiating scandal. Nothing at all. Not like they're the biggest sport in the country or anything.

I understand what you are saying about the shoulders, I played OL for 8 years. But saying that oh its a hold cause the guys hands were outside the numbers on the front of the shoulder is ******ed. Your hands can be outside the numbers, it doesn't make it an automatic hold. Its just easier for officials to see you holding if you are doing it outside the numbers.

FWIW i'm far from a Colts hater and root for them if they aren't playing the Giants. And I don't think its rigged, just a brutal call.

For Colt fans: Do you honestly think they make the same call on an Indy int return? No conspiracy, but every OL "holds" like that on every play. You don't make a call like that unless, for whatever reason, you really want to. I think most refs don't make that kind of call on a home team, imo. They'd get pelted by every object fans could find.

Teams have tended to wear out in the 4th vs Chargers and they run it, problem is they might be down a lot, that call was tough.
