Rams have the 32nd ranked rushing D in the league. Gave up 250 yards to the Cowboys backup RB. Add to that they're scoring 9 points a game.

The worst team but have a cupcake schedule from here on out.

Can't keep Clark and Wayne and Garcon down too long, even with Fat Nirvana throwing to them. They have a chance to beat Jax and maybe even Tennessee (if Hasselbeck gets hurt or something).
LMAO

Indianapolis still is searching for its first victory as the halfway point of the season approaches. The club will maintain its level of fight and hopes to make improvements on execution matters.

They just cut their #1 WR going into this season (Sims-Walker) and their newly acquired #1 WR has a market value of a 5th rounder, this has to be the worst in the league. Sjax is ok but has so many touches at this point he'll probably be done after this season or next at the latest.

That said, going 0-16 while playing in the NFCw would be quite an accomplishment.

its a 2-horse race now

as bad as the Dolphins are, they did "almost win" twice in a row now, so I kinda feel like this is the Colts' to lose

Aaaaand I'm continually reminded of why I don't allow myself to bet NFL.

Of course Rams come out this week and just cakewalk over the Saints. I MEAN OF COURSE THEY WOULD DUH THEY ARE THE RAMS

This is why you can't go down the schedule and say lose lose lose. It's VERY hard to go 0-16 (lolions). The Rams just beat the goddamn Saints. Colts could've beat the Steelers a few weeks back. Dolphins will surely manage to win eventually. Arizona is alive in the Luck sweepstakes too.

Yeah between that and the Ravens/Jaxxx game I think all predictions are off at this point, except the one that says the Dolphins will always **** things up in the end

can someone explain why a team wouldnt go 0-16 for Luck if they're already sucking so bad? afraid to lose fans / people talking **** about them only things?

in theory it makes sense to tank but theres still the pride of 53 guys of which most are not sure that they will be with the team much longer than this season (due to not being a star, being old or the danger of injury) so that they will still give 100% because of that or just because theyre competitive and are used to giving 100%.

They want to be "real" fans?

Are the Colts trying anymore? I haven't watched even the shortcuts since their latest primetime game. No matter how awful they keep playing I keep thinking it can't be real since no player is that valuable.

No he didn't. Several people, including myself cited several articles quoting NFL people. I even cited an article from the year after the draft where Polian himself said "we didn't know who we were taking until draft day" (or some such).

Assuming the order to lose on purpose would come from the owner, there's no way Sparano would follow it because he knows he's out of a job soon. He's not going to obey some **** order like that from management.

And even if Sparano did, there's no way the players would because they are all trying to keep their careers going. Nobody is going to jeopardize their livelihood so the owner, the next coach, and the next batch of players can maybe have success.

But you don't have to give such an obvious order. In MIA or IND cases, just letting the current coach keep coaching is hurtful enough on it's own. Being quick to put players on IR is another way for the FO to damage the season.

Little things add up, and when you're already a bad team, all you really need is to lower your EV in a few games.

The colts are just awful. Jags will win by 10 plus. They have a top 10 defense plus mjd. Delrio will be going all out trying to save his job.

Colts have like 1 or 2 games left that are remotely winnable, this is so gonna happen.

they can afford to win one now, w/ the dolphins winning their last two and the rams up to a pair of wins.
