Anyone can start this right?

Goooo state!!! I think we have a pretty decent chance to win. Offense is doing pretty good, and defense is alright as well. Hopefully we pull it off like in 2006, that was an amazing game.

Florida State's O-Line is really really bad.

FSU already piling up negative yards almost as fast as they are piling up positive yards.

first drive: 49 yards forward, 40 yards backward.

NCST looking good early. I am still at work, but despite my multi monitor setup, I only have slingbox on one TV at home so I have to choose which game I want to watch

I think I am going to watch BYU, what channel is it on?

Also, someone explain to me why I bought the $250 slingbox instead of the $150 one so that I could stream HD, only to discover that HD bandwidth is beyond outrageous. I am streaming at ~1m/s right now and it's like a reasonably okay standard def picture on 1/4 of my monitor

lol based on how their o and d line's look, I'll be really pissed if we don't win. Gah, stupid test tomm, or I would be enjoying the game .

BTW, what is the probability that we can become a powerhouse in college football ever?

like 1% maybe? Especially right now while Butch Davis is at UNC, recruiting is going to be ridiculously tough, all the big schools in the south take their picks from NC who has produced some really good players. Florida got the best OL from NC 2 years ago.

FSU now with 58 negative yards in the first quarter.

Hall sacked on 3rd down, fumble rec by TCU. 2 plays later TCU touchdown.

EVER? I dunno, reasonable? I mean NC has good talent, and sooner or later someone between Duke, UNC, Wake and NC State HAS to be good... right now all signs point to UNC then Wake then probably Duke over NCST, but it's not impossible 10 years down the line.

I mean, less 10 years ago USF like didn't even have a football team, Missouri was a joke, Wake Forest couldn't win a game, Cal was going 1-10 every year, etc.

Versus

They just got the ball when their punt touched a TCU guy then went incomplete, short run, short pass, went for it on 4th and 2 from the 27 and got stuffed on a nice tackle by the TCU guy.

Still 7-0 TCU, but its' all froggies so far.

Great, on GOLF/VERSUS HD there is a replay of women's golf instead of the football game. Expert programming decision.

So what exactly is FSU's offensive scheme other than "QB drops back, sees everyone covered, runs?"

Wow, TCU just eating up hunks of yardage and now up 14-0.

OK, so what is the probability that we're good if Bill Cowher comes to us (he's alumni). Surely, it has to be wayyyyy up right? I mean, he's a world class coach, has lots of connections in the nfl, if he runs an nfl style offense/defense, a lot of the 5 and 4 star recruits will be interested cause it will make their transitions into the nfl that much easier. I've always wondered about that when the steelers won the SB and Cowher retired and our coaching position opened up. Like there's only a 1% chance it was gonna happen, but still excited.

I would think it would be really easy for successful NFL coaches to come down to the college level and build dynasties. Obv it would depend on money going to athletics, and all that, but that would surely just flow in if we keep on winning. but obv since it's not happening, it's either not practical or unlikely. Have there been any such transitions that have been failures/huge successes (besides Pete Carroll.)

This will never, ever, ever happen. You're lucky to have as good a coach as you do now.
