you want to lock in some action now? How many points are you laying?
On what? On a potential Bama/Mich matchup I think I'd rather take the points and the plus money line at the time rather than lay points now. On the Wolverine/Buckeye game it looks to be close to a pick, depending on upcoming form. I'll pass.
Footnote (just skip it if you don't want a major tangent rant): Recently I took a public speaking class, turned out the professor was a Michigan grad. On one of the assignments we had to go to the front of class, no prep, and talk on one of three subjects she assigned on the spot. One she gave me was Michigan football. Classic ringer situation. I went thru the 10 Years War, the Schembechler era including him virtually coaching the basketball team to 89(?) title, the Moeller, Carr, Rodriguez, and just then starting Harbaugh eras. Touched on their Heisman winners, rare defensive winner (Woodson had picked off somebody twice, Maybe Manning the week of my talk), it was also the week of the freaky "Michigan has lead and ball with 10 seconds to go and blows game to Mich St so I covered that, Michigan bowl difficulties over the decades, aberration of Brady being so overlooked in draft, mentioned that Michigan was the all-time leader in wins in football, etc. Then I sang the fight song and sat down. I passed. And no I'm not a Michigan fan, not picking them for any such reason as that. All in all, go fish on the laying points on Michigan versus Bama game. Try somebody else. Here's a good kicker to the story. I used to be something like the google for sports information before there was google. I missed the following question during a national trivia contest in Las Vegas: "What is the nickname of the University of Michigan football team?" LOL. I total brainlocked it and could'nt come up with it. I won the contest. Missed that one and one hockey question (longest winning streak) out of 100 or so. None of that is the talent ... it's the fallout of the talent which is something else. Pass, pass, pass.
