I mean Tennessee could very well go 10-2 and lose close to Bama/LSU in the SECCG, but that's their ceiling imo.

re: BYU potentially entering the Big 12

http://www.deseretnews.com/article/8...12.html?pg=all

not sure if the BYU athletic director has a very unfortunate last name for this particular situation, or a most appropriate one based on BYU's likely position.

let's just say my ears did a double-take when i heard it described on the radio.

Never have I been more disappointed to not be rickrolled.

I know the odds are massively against it happening, but for lulz I really want to see both Florida (Appelby) and LSU (Etling) open with former PURDUE QBs starting.

I just saw UNLV's home schedule for this season:

Jackson St
Idaho
Fresno St
Colorado St
Wyoming

from a fan interest standpoint this has to be WOAT schedule, rite?

also in b4 "no one cares about the MWC, gtfo".

On the plus side UNLV might win 1 or 2 of those games.

ha

expectations are actually sort of high this year as their coach (Tony Sanchez) is the guy who recently coached local HS powerhouse Bishop Gorman. plus the training facilities were supposedly upgraded as a nice donation was given to UNLV on the condition of his hiring. they showed some flashes of being decent last year with the new coach but ultimately fell apart down the stretch.

but yeah I wouldn't be shocked to see unlv go 2-10 again no matter who coaches. unlv gonna unlv when it comes to football.

So now if you complain enough and go to the press you'll be allowed to transfer in-conference and play immediately?

Good to know

Damn, RIP John Saunders

What happened to him? Just health problems? Seems like it came out of no where.

Likely a suicide. Depression is no joke.

Schools the Big 12 is reportedly considering adding to actually get to, you know, 12 schools:

Cincy, Houston, BYU, USF, UConn, Memphis, Col St., Boise St., Tulane, Temple, East Carolina, SMU, New Mexico, Northern Illinois, San Diego St.

Good luck in your quest to become the new Mountain West/Conference USA/Big East, I guess. Seems that would start the dominoes falling for Texas and Oklahoma to start looking at moving to Pac 12 or SEC.

College football trivia:

There are only 2 FBS schools that have had just 2 head coaches from 1979 up to the present time. Name them
