The music is inconsequential, since you can't hear it in the stadium anyway.

NCAA has determined that the bullet is a "gift" and declared Deadrick ineligible and Alabama has to forfeit any games he's played in or observed (if he watched it on TV it counts).

I bet it was a barner!

I predict that Auburn loses to either La Tech or Miss State but somehow gets to a bowl game. Gonna be a tough year. I love Tuberville for the good times, but man did he take a vacation from recruiting the last few years. True freshman are playing all over the place.

Well, I'm sure hiring a guy coming off a 2-10 year at Iowa State is just the thing to get recruits excited. Saban or Chizik, tough choice!

I understand your point, but when Mizzou leaves guys open by at least 15 yards 40 yards down the field multiple times in one game (like they did v Illinois in 2008), they will get no respect. I watched them blow assignment after assignment that game.

Is it too early to start drinking for a 1:00 saturday kickoff?

Predictions for the biggest upset on week 1? Highest Ranked team to lose week one?

Obviously it's going to be one of Bama/VT for the ranked team. Outside of that, not too many possible upsets from the top teams, maybe Washington and Locker can put it together under a new coach and upset LSU at home? I doubt it, but there isn't much else out there.

2 separate questions

VT beating Alabama or vice versa wouldn't be a huge upset, but forgot this game was week 1 for some reason. Definitely don't expect any team higher than VT to lose.

5 is pretty much the bottom unless there is a plane crash of injuries.

It helps that we have a QB that can throw more than 10 yards.

Can someone with more power than Elliot just unban the MT2R account already? I mean enough with this "wisdom cube" nonsense.

At first I thought this weekends games were gonna suck, then i thought they were going to be good, now I think they're gonna suck.

BYU and UGA will probably get rolled. Bama- VTech will probably combine for 50 yrds of offense. No idea what to expect from FSU-Miami but the fact that its not sold out is a bad sign.

Basically leaves the game of the week to Boise- Oregon (which actually should be a fantastic game). Runners up Nevada- ND, Maryland-Cal, and Ill-Mizzou?

btw the UCLA- SDSU game is still being scheduled for Sat. Dunno how many people have been following, but the fires here in SoCal have been ridic. In Pasadena theres basically a fog of smoke. I have no idea how they can play that game.

They give you an 85 man roster, substitute liberally as guys hack up lungs I guess.

Although the way UCLA runs, they'll probably lose their top three quarterbacks to lung cancer or emphysema or something like that.
