Yeah its amazing how poor little barca survives. It's not like everything is tipped financially in their favor in la liga.

Barca has gone the way of most European super-clubs, in terms of either Middle-Eastern investment or Large Sponsors (This year atleast and for the forseeable future, but that's because our new president is a huge douchenozzle)...

As for them having things tipped in their favor, besides Villa, Ibra, and MAYBE Alves, this team has been built from the core up, with 7 (Now possibly 8 with Fountas being brought up for Abidal) over the past 3-5 years..

I'd wish that Pedro wouldn't go down as much as he does, but that's the current state of football affairs in the world...

Barca got the sh*t end of the stick in the Arsenal series in terms of referee calls, so please put that sh*t away. How Arsenal wasn't down to 9 men in the first 25 mins still blows my mind.

Similarly I have no idea how poor little Arsenal survives, with the massive additional revenues they receive from being in the Big Cup places.

What gave you the impression I painted a "woe arsenal" picture? At least the fans of other clubs don't try to hide behind some false creed and act all uppity and above everyone else (unless money is involved or a player they want).

I mean if Arsenal fans think your club is overly sanctimonious...

I didn't. You obviously have an objection to a club having things financially tipped in their favour. Naturally you also object to this occurring with your own side.

They're a good side, probably one of the better underrated clubs in Europe over the last couple of years. Lucescu has done a pretty damn good job over there.

Darijo Srna used to be one of the best players in Europe that no one knew about, not sure how true that is anymore.

shouldn't be. i was made pretty aware of who he was in both WC2006 and Euro08 through some strong play. but then again i probably have a soft spot for the Croatian team, and style of play.

Everyone who plays fantasy football games should know him as he's always the best value in the defender category ^^

Its like you've read someone smart writing something critical of Barcelona and now youre trying fit the parts you can remember into the conversation.

There was nothing "more than a club" about what I wrote. I find that talk mildly annoying most of the time. It wasnt really about present day Inter or Barcelona either.

robben saying how important CL is to him...if bayern don't get 3rd in the bundesliga and he wants to leave, where the hell would he go? already been to chelsea and RM. i honestly have no clue. would fit united the best but cant see that happening.
