wenger thought that loaning him out to get playtime and develop as a player is more important for Senderos and the team as well.

Benching Senderos as 4th CB at the age of 24 with not much playing time at all would probably kill any chance of him "making it".

So loaning him out to Milan where he can learn from Nesta/Maldini and so on and prove himself in a top league sounds pretty comprehensible.

I was at the boozer for the game and it was great. Ronaldos goal came from nothing and went on to win it.

Beautiful.

Porto were poor and didn't really get any clear cut chances so I'm happy with that.

Rio + Vidic was the key tonight for me.

Rio was a wall in the back today. Completely showed his class. I can't believe I'm saying this, but O'Shea was also quality too. Covered a lot of ground and made some spot on tackles and clearances. This was probably one of the worst games I've seen Evra play for us
