Both Evans and O'Shea are in the starting line up according to the CL website, but no Rooney?

VDS, Evra, Rio, Evans, O'Shea, Park, Giggs, Fletcher, Carrick, Ronaldo, Berba

I think the EPL is simply not that good this year (although United is truly dominating). Inter is dominating in Italy, and with Mourinho's success against Ferguson and the size and skill of Inter's strikers, I think they look like the better team.

Wat? You cannot be serious. The EPL is the best it's ever been. United and Liverpool are both better than last year and there's teams like Villa etc pushing harder than ever.

If you this manchester team would have a chance against Chelsea in 2005 you are deeply mistaken.

Chelsea are ****? Compared to what other teams in Europe? Honestly you guys don't seem to have any perspective.

Yes United could compete with Chelsea 2005. To think otherwise is blatantly ******ed.

United are the Premiership and current Champions League holders and are better this year than last. Yet Inter Milan, a team who have never done **** all in Europe and are playing in an inferior league look like the better team? Despite their defense? Jesus Christ. Not saying they can't beat us. They are a top, top side and with our injury problems etc it could definitely happen. However the only team in the world you could make a vague argument for being better than United is Barca. Suggesting any other makes you look like a moron.

wat(at united not being able to compete with 2005 chelsea). IMO this squad is the best ever assembled. Lol at us somehow being underdogs against inter milan in everyone's minds.

The standard of the EPL outside 5 or 6 teams is pretty terrible.

Ibrahomivic and Maicon might be the only 2 players from Inter Milan that would be starters in Man U's squad this year.

Meaning, this Man U squad is the strongest they've had a while.

Not THAT suprising Evans is starting even if he will only be like 85 pct or whatever.

I'm suprised Rooney isn't starting though. He could be huge in so many ways in match like this.

I take back the not being able to compete with chelsea in 2005, however Chelsea would be the favourites.

So the EPL isn't very tough this year, but still you're 6 points away from the bottom. Hmm...Ok

In other news, Abou Diaby is back apparently, him and Eboue are both starting.

Over/under on first red card?

Just want to refer people to my bias.

All I am saying is I think as of right now, Inter looks like the better team. I dont care what either team has done historically, but I do think I would favor Inter in this round. There is a very high chance of me jamming my foot in my mouth after this game though.

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL.

Yes because Serie A is absolutely brilliant in the bottom half of the table. The standard in the EPL of the teams outside the top 6 is higher than in any other league. This is almost indisputable but I would love to hear someone try.

Sick logic.

I guess saying this is the toughest the league has ever been makes you feel better about wrapping up that EUFA Cup spot?

In fear of spoilers for games I'll watch later I shall abandon this thread for now.

As a Juve fan I do feel a little dirty saying it but gogogogo Internazionale!

80 thousand people are in place and it should be an extremely intense affair.

Hopefully we'll see some of this:

and maybe even this :

There are some good squads but there are always various problems.
I think certainly La Liga has had a very good case for many years now. All the way to the bottom of the table where actually Barca's defeats have come this year.
And the middle teams in Serie A has also improved a lot lately and making good progress.

BUT time for the big game!

But Eboue and Diaby are starting, which means I want to end my life before the game even begins. My hate for Eboue is well known. He could score a hat-trick today and I'd still hate his clown arse.
