I'm guessing the teen birth rate is a trick statistic because in some third world countries they get started before the girls are teens.

World just follow our lead and stop with the soccer. We clearly know what's up. Field some decent baseball, basketball, and football teams so we can get some great international competitions.

Xenos know they have no chance against us in those sports. Those sports select heavily for strength, athleticism, coordination, and skill and Americans are dominant in those categories. Soccer selects for having a long attention span to deal with the crushing boredom and Xenos are good at that as they all grow up in boring places with non-unlimited entertainment options.

SpaceX definitely feels like an only-in-america story. Elon Musk is basically Tony Stark. And Elon is on record as possibly the biggest "USA#1" cheerleader in the world.

Better, shorter view

It's ****ing insane that we can now speed up a rocket to like 3500 miles per hour, detach the booster that got it there, send the package into orbit and then re-land the booster basically precisely on the 'X' we planned.

this is science fiction stuff.
