Man Mike Leake got blasted in his last 2 outings, which were his only relief appearances.

2-2/3 innings 8 earned. He must have been loving life the night of June 5th when he was 5-0 with 2.22 ERA.

Harper went 1-2 today raising his average to .389 and getting his 5th RBI in limited playing time.

Since his MLB debut, he has only struck out 1 time.

Have been reading alot into him and he truly seems to be a out of this world talent... But I've been hearing that he won't hit for a high avg. in the majors... someone plz verify I'm just going on what scouts and exec's have said about him

after harper is HBP, the intentially walk the next batter and then... with bases loaded

the yankees...

bring in Mark Texiera to pitch!!!!!

they have like 20 pitchers in spring training that need work... makes no sense... and the guy that texiera replaced has only threw to 2 batters(1 hbp, 1 intentially walk)

Well, the Harper circus is coming to my town ... he was just optioned to Single-A Hagerstown, according to a text message my boss (Herald-Mail sports editor) got.

i just checked the box score... you're right, the guy that ended the game was someone else. I guess i got leveled.

I was watching Gameday and it had Texeria pitching, i guess whoever was updating gameday put in the wrong number... wierd. Oh well, i guess mistakes are made in spring training

Nationals are my least favorite team in the MLB

Yeah, they signed Adam LaRoche and Jason Werth... way overpaid for both of them who are Werthless players.

I wish Harper would go to another team in some trade that was actually entertaining to watch with or without him.

if strasburg and zimermann are both ok then strasburg/harper/zimmerman/zimmermann is a pretty beast young core. sure they overpaid werth but he is quite good as well. nats could be very good in a few years.
