While they should have chanted "Five and Thirteen", this was still a reminder that Illinois went 5-13 in a bad league last year. And not sure about Gordon's recruitment being the catalyst for this situation. I'm pretty sure he didn't cause Sampson to be dirty, Sampson was dirty before Gordon.

Are there any other refs who we can name besides EH? Is that the only way to become famous as a referee is to suck so bad?

Anyone catch the UW- tOSU game last night? I didn't expect a win, and it almost came out, but ugh! Still haven't dropped a game that I expected them to win, and won a few I didn't expect.

Ohio State made a lot of sloppy mistakes and made up for it by shooting out of their minds. Too many dumb turnovers though. Im just hoping they can get to at least a 5 seed for the tournament, avoiding the extra day of play. Sometimes that counts against you since you don't have an easy extra W, though.

8-14 overall is not good, but a more honest representation than 5-13.

doesn't change that the Eric Gordon taunt was incredibly lame. I would think Indiana fans would not want to relive the epic collapse that was their 07-08 season. Plus, the spot that was Eric Gordon's schollie is now used by Mike Davis for the Illini.

This UM-N'western game is setting basketball back a few years. This is dreadful.

+1 for Riverman's Sims take. Give him the ball every effin possession. No more Novak and Douglas chucking up 3's. Aren't white guys from Indiana supposed to be able to shoot?
