All of them were given chances in LA and just didnt perform, Purcell in particular was awful even when given pp time and a linemate in Kopitar, its not like he traded them for scraps before giving them a shot

Moulson was let go for absolutely nothing. Boyle, whatever, teams lose guys like that all the time, sometimes a player just isn't envisioned in a particular role and he can't end up there. Purcell was given the best chance. But Moulson played really well in the AHL and had solid boxcars in the NHL - no idea why he wasn't given more of a chance.

I don't think anyone thought Segal was good, and O'Sullivan got you Williams. You can't hold on to every player, but not being able to use Moulson is a mistake.

Moulson, purcell. both offensive skill guys who were expected to score in tmurray's defense first, defense second, offense if-it-happens-it-happens, system. little wonder they "didn't perform".

the list of players who withered offensively under tmurray is extensive.
Kangz to be one of the top 5 offensive teams this year.

NHL.com article about Rick Nash still has the Bruins as a potential landing spot haha. I just can't imagine given the Bruins cap situation and Chiarelli's steadfast support of this core that it has any chance of happening.
